Cambridge, 2025. Three women and their supporters move through the city centre with makeshift milking equipment attached to their bodies, each carrying a container of white liquid. The image is absurd — until it becomes clear. If this were done to women, we would call it barbaric. Yet this is what the dairy industry does to cows: repeatedly impregnating them, taking their calves, killing the males for veal, and draining the mothers until they are no longer useful.
